11:33PM - So, on monday I went to this crazy awesome sixties store...

Katelyn Mathews and I went shopping on monday, and we went to Atomic Garage, which is in Valley Junction (wherever that is, I don't know--I didn't drive). It is a vintage clothing store with amazing clothes, and shoes, and jewelry, and bags, and they have vinyl, and lots more amazing things. I bought this really cool coat that is black and white and amazing, but i won't be able to wear it until it gets hotter because it isn't exactly warm...but its pretty! I really should be writing my essay on pluralism for AP Gov, but I won't...even though it is due tomorrow at midnight (or 2 am)....

ahh...procrastination...

11:11PM - "I live like a hermit in my own head..."

I had a bit of a freakout this morning. I ran into this guy in a red minivan this morning and I couldn't stop crying for two hours. i almost had a panic attack while talking to the secretary at my insurance agent. And with my luck, i run into a detective with the Marshalltown Police Department. I now have a ticket for 76 dollars for failing to yield on a left turn. I suck at life. I've definitely decided to never drive again. and if i do, i will avoid all 4-way stops. somehow.

5:12PM - YAY! Painkillers!

My wisdom teeth are out! And I still can't feel my mouth. They must have used a shitload of novocaine. Also, Jenny Lewis is doing a solo album! It is supposed to be an alt-country sort of thing. And Milo Ventimiglia(or however you spell it--aka jess from gilmore girls) is going to have a new show on the WB called Bedford diaries. I learned this all from reading teen vogue that I don't even pay for but still get. exciting!

11:28PM - yay for christmas! (Eve!)

Merry Christmas everybody, because I probably won't see you before then, seeing how it's about a half an hour before it will technically be christmas. I've had many a celebration in the last couple of days along with too much shopping. I never thought I'd say that, but I've been to the mall 3 times today, because people needed "help" shopping for people. I'm pretty sure the mall employees think i'm completely crazy (which could in fact be true.) well, anywho, on friday people came over to my house to open gifts, and i got the two things I most wanted: a stuffed chicken little, and the eisley cd. I also got things I didn't even know I wanted: a giant cookie cookbook that had about a bazillion recipes, and yummy smelling bath and body works stuff. and also shiny bows. then, i went to diane's house and watched elf, and then went shopping with her to get something for her little brother. Today (saturday) I woke up at 10 (yes!! sleeping in!!) and then went to the mall the first time. then I went home and helped my mom bake and went to the mall, then walmart, then to the mall again with her. then, my grandparents came over and we ate lots of food, then went to church, where the youth choir glared at me because I refuse to join it. We came back to my house and opened presents and I got gilmore girls season 4 (yay! more jess!) and a long underwear like shirt and a t-shirt that says Hugs Not Drugs (it's pretty amazing.) and lots o gift certificates. then i read Away Laughing on a Fast Camel, and then started writing this. it's not that exciting. my family doesn't seem to have traditions, as many other people do. oh, well. tomorrow i'm off to waverly to spend time with family that I never talk to. then, it's off to des moines with the family on monday (probably for more shopping. ugh. and the science center. because my family is made up of geeks.) I finally posted something that wasn't a quiz. I am proud of myself. even though this is quite boring.
